You get to learn about the youth and how they entered the DCFS system. A typical day is getting the youth to prepare for school and or work. Assisting the youth with life skills such as seeking employment, how to properly wash clothes, how to thoroughly clean their rooms and apartment. The coworkers are helpful when getting the youth in order as far as the importance of going to school. I've learned from working at this facility that everyone needs help with something and understanding the youth's history with being in DCFS.
