Yukon College continued to deliver basic employment skills for mining at several community campuses throughout the Yukon to meet the needs of Yukoners seeking employment with this growing sector of the Yukon economy.
Yukon College Board of Governors facilitated Community Board Training by bringing Dr. John Carver to deliver a well-attended (181 participants) – more... workshop on Policy Governance. The Board of Governors also continue to develop the policy framework used in our policy governance model.
It should be noted that in the 1996 Graduate Survey, 99% of those responding would recommend Yukon College to others as the place to study. This speaks volumes to the fact that Yukon College has a full complement of dedicated and hard-working staff and instructors. Many thanks to all those who have worked diligently to help Yukon College achieve its Mission of relevant, excellent, affordable adult education.
