They need to start breaking apart families and clicks withing the jobs ! They also have to stop GF 's and Superintendents from sandbagging the hours and let the foreman do their own timesheet .when laying off they should ask the foreman for employee evaluations and the lay off should be based on attendence , performance , and write ups if any or problems the employee had , not let the GF or Senior GF lay off people they do not like not knowing their actual performance or without being evaluated just keeping their buddies and relatives ! Really look into your own Co. into crafts talk to employees give them an actual number they can call and someone will answer so you can complain ! This has been going on for a while and its getting alot worse its favoritism ! Especially in the Civil Dept. , and at the BPEX job in Exxon Mobil . Please really talk to former employees not just HR cus she just there to listen and not to help !
They need to focus on those people they select for supervisors and managers. Closely evaluate their behavior and characteristics. which is the true reason why they want those positions, but not be satisfied with words, also with facts. Since there are many cases where supervisors have no idea of the work they perform and only know how to abuse their power and those are promoted not by their work, but because they are the favorites of someone.
