I handle the rod that the welder get know all the rods I know all the weld proceduers get along with everyone love doing my job meetin new people

It's a great company, which gave me the opportunity to apply my knowledge and learn more about this profecion. over all got good experience, where security is applied as the first, then quality and production.

Good company good pay take decent care of workers always sending job openings

At Zachry I learned how to fit pipes.I also leaned how to read blue prints. Blue Prints are the lay out of how the pipes are going to be laid and how.

i had worked with several of them before so it made for a good day.

All needed tools provided. All safety rules strictly enforced. Co-workers were hard workers.

Zachry was a good company to work for. I climbed the ladder out there, and they didn't just let anyone take the reigns and run. When I wanted to move up, I was always able to speak with my supervisors and they would tell me what I needed to do to reach my goals. A person with the ability to think was respected with the areas I worked in. They push production over safety. They pay lower than any other company. They made mistakes on my pay check twice then it took me three weeks to get it right. No breaks on ten hours. Management is disrespectful. Nothing good about them. Do not work for them.

I LIKE THAT THE TAKE THE TIME TO NOTICE THE HARD WORKERS AND REWARD THEM BY DOING SO

I liked zachry its an easy place to work at becuase the managment is good. They dont drive you into the ground working wise like alot of the other companies. I think they care for there emploies more than other companies.

Great group of co- workers. But I worked 7 days a week, 10 hour shifts. Grandfather was put in hospital on life support at the time. We just found out he had stage 4 lung cancer. They would not let me take time off to be with him. I worked nights, got off work, and went straight to hospital. I went home early 3 times due to extreme fatigue, and was – more... terminated. 2 days later my grandfather passed away. – less

have worked for much better companies.management and planning very poor.hard to learn anything when supervision doesnt know.it was a job thats all .

This job consist of everybody doing their job to make it a productive day. SAFELY

I worked for them 2 times in florida. Both times the pay was very low, there was no overtime and the safety was terrible. Everyone spoke spanish and hardly anyone spoke english. They pushed real hard for production and safety was not considered. They believe in production first and safety last. We worked 9 hour days with no breaks and a half hour lunch. – more... They made welders leave the morning safety meetings early and miss pertinent information so we could get our rods and be back before the meeting was over. We worked inside aother crews red barricade while they hung steel over our heads. Very dangerous company that does not care about their employees safety. – less

Good learning experience, excelleny Company to work for. The employers were helpful in providing training, information about the job site and guided their employees through the entire job.

I have enjoyed my time working for Zachry.I learned several skills in several different crafts.

I've worked for many companies and all were about the same, union or non union. Union didn't expect as much work as non unions. Found a few quality hands to work with but not many. Zach is a good as any other company. Work, go home get paid.
