I have been temping/contracting for years and my goodness these folks needs to get it together! I always give credit where credit is due however dealing with this Agency has been one disaster after another. Seems like they just want to get a body into an assignment and collect a commission. From the Recruiter blowing up my phone 15 times in 10 days, badgering me to get the new hire documents completed yesterday because she thought I was starting a week earlier than I was scheduled to, to the same Recruiter not passing my new hire paperwork on to the "Human Resources Department" for an entire week because "there was so much going on", to being murky on the details about converting to a FT employee with the company where I was placed, to showing up to the client and finding them surprised to see me and also being told to arrive 30 minutes later than the work day starts, to not noticing that the I9 and validity of Identifying Documents were not provided prior to my first day so I had to leave early on my first day and go to Mountain View for copies of my documents to be made so my paycheck was short 3 hours, to finding out after being accepted as a candidate for the client that they pay semi-monthly instead of weekly like every other agency so I have to wait almost a month for a paycheck.
On the upside I do enjoy the company where I am temping and will hopefully be converted. For a company that has been in business since 1995, also women and minority-owned no less, one would and should expect better. Beware.
