In the late 1990's to 2010, Zip Realty was a very unique company in that we Real Estate agents were Employees, rather than much more typical indpendent sales agents. Unfortunately when the economy turned downward, the company decided it was necessary to change this model and cut costs like virtually all other R.E. companies. The agent-employee model was scrapped. Today, the Company apparently retains much of the free training. In fact, it has been improved and Zip Realty excels in this area. With its free client leads continuing, it remains a great place to work, especially if you are a veteran agent or a hard-working new agent with a low sphere of influence. Comission is fairly good despite the free leads from the Company. – less
