Over the past decade and more, Zoltek has enunciated a clear vision and a consistent strategy. We endured our dark years and we have been rewarded as the revolution in building materials that we have talked about for so long has well and truly begun.

We have already made substantial progress in the first two elements of our three-part strategy.
 – more... First, is becoming the low-cost producer of carbon fibers. Second, is to lead a massive increase in production capacity to assure potential high-volume users that low-cost carbon fibers would be available in sufficient quantities for new applications. Now, we are increasingly concentrating on the third, and decisive, element in our strategy: working with other companies to open new applications and markets made possible by the ready availability of low-priced carbon fibers.

Our job over the next three years is all about execution. Our goal is to reach annual sales of $500 million or more in fiscal 2011 - which is more than five times the sales volume for the year just ended. We believe the demand will be there to support this goal.

We see continuing significant growth in demand for commercial carbon fibers from a number of industries including, but not limited to:

Wind Energy
Alternative Energy
Fuel-efficient Automobiles
Construction and Infrastructure
Oil Exploration

The same inexorable logic that has dictated the evolution of a new generation of jetliners that are 50% or more composed of carbon fibers applies to a whole host of emerging applications. Quite simply, carbon fiber outperforms every other commercial material on the face of the planet in providing the greatest strength and stiffness per pound of weight. That - plus the ability to mold carbon fiber composites into any shape or to disperse carbon fibers in other materials such as concrete - makes carbon fiber the essential enabling material for powerful mega trends.

Throughout all of its history, Zoltek has been a company with a mission - the mission of trying to create great value for its customers and shareholders by leading a revolution in building materials predicated on low-cost, high-performance carbon fibers.

Right now and over the next few years, the only limitation on our growth will be our ability to increase production efficiency and to bring new capacity on line in a timely and efficient manner.

Thank you for expressing interest in Zoltek. – less
