machine operator (Former Employee), st louis, mo – January 9, 2013
Cons: bad wages, high insurance, no paid breaks, bad managment
I worked this company and in production you work 12 hours a day, with no paid breaks at all. 3 days on 3 days off. You can never plan anything in advance because you might have to work that day. Wages are meger for the stress involved with management riding your butt. I say pass on this company.
Mechanical Engineer (Current Employee), Salt Lake City, UT – June 5, 2014
Pros: small, flexible to a degree, hands on for engineers
Cons: terrible management, lazy work culture, poor compensation
Management at every level of Entec/Zoltek is laughable at best. From one not having the first clue how to properly handle his job, to another literally stepping on anyone to make himself look good instead – more... of making projects successful.
Besides that, raises are non-existent, "bonus" is apparently a bad word here, salary workers have been flatly told that they're expected to put in 50 hrs/wk with no comp time or benefit. Insurance programs here are basically a bad joke. – less
