About Zoo New England
Zoo New England serves 500,000 visitors annually, including over 10,000 member families. The majority of visitors are young mothers and fathers with children under 10 years old, although any given day you will see many grandparents enjoying a visit with their grandchildren. Demographic data indicates that visitors come from all over Massachusetts, New – more... Hampshire and Rhode Island.
ZNE's mission of Education - Conservation - Recreation attracts nearly 100,000 schoolchildren annually who visit the Zoos with their class free of charge. On-site "Zoo encounter" education programs are available for these children to enhance their visit.
ZNE offers summer and after-school career development programs for local teens, most of whom come from disadvantaged neighborhoods near Franklin Park Zoo. One such initiative is the Zoo Teen program, which extends career development and first time job opportunities to young people ages 14 - 17.
A partnership with the Boston Public Schools has created a "Science Stars" program that offers schoolchildren science-based educational opportunities at the Zoo allowing each child to take knowledge back to the classroom where they act as mentors for their group.
The Zoos use special events such as "Boo at the Zoo", "Zoo Howl", and "Zoolights" to welcome an additional 70,000 guests at Halloween and winter holiday time. These events attract an even wider-reaching audience to the Zoos.
Zoo New England looks toward the corporate community for sponsorship. Our mission is so universal; there are numerous opportunities to match companies whose interests and/or product base relate to Zoo New England's focus on education, recreation, children, family and conservation.
Zoo New England offers a comprehensive sponsorship program tailored to your company's needs and marketing objectives. For additional event sponsorship information, please call 617-989-2013. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
