Multinational Corporation with strong products in telecommunication that span both wireless, wired, Enterprise solutions and Government as well as bearer network products. I started ZTE in 2009 for a wimax network roll-out. my role included site installation supervision and I had to travel each day outside my ordinary place of work. Later, I did integration and commission for most BTS followed by optimization and service testing. I have grown to become engineering manager collaborating with Account manager and pre-sale team to win contracts for my office and the caribbean group. In zte, there are many trainings for various technologies and you have to learn something new each day. I am well respected in my company and despite the challenges it's fairly comfortable. The biggest drawback is job security - contracts are renewed yearly and I fear termination if there are no projects available.
