We're looking for someone experienced in paying the bills, handling the incoming money, processing payment, AR and AP, and tracking the flow of outgoing money. We need our bookkeepers to take ownership and fill out the tax forms for the company and work with our CPA to ensure the accuracy of the accounts. Handling employee payrolls and commissions will also be a part of this position. You will NEED Quickbooks experience, this is a MUST. You will be managing a team of 3, management/leadership experience is preferred.
-Lead a team of 3 accounting clerks.
-Accounts payable. Research paid and unpaid invoices. Enter and payment of invoices.
-Photocopy, scan, and file.
-Accounts receivable. Collections, post deposits, and research deposit details.
-Declined credit card follow up calls.
-General bookkeeping – bank and credit card reconciliation.
-Managing the books for multiple clients.
-Experience with inventory and inventory audit/keeping.
Requirements and Skills:
Prefer at least 5 years of experience with bookkeeping and accounting.
Savvy with MS Office. Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and more.
Able to type 45+ WPM and proficient with accuracy with 10 key.
Great phone etiquette is a MUST! Light phone calls for inbound and outbound.
Must possess a helpful attitude and able to work with zero supervision and be an effective and respectable leader.
