Preparation Cook I - This position requires demonstration of knife and sharp kitchen equipment safety skills and proficiency. Candidates will be proficient in meat, poultry and fish preparation, including safe handling and preparation, slicing and dicing of beef & lamb standard butcher cuts, boning and shredding of chicken, turkey, and flaking of fish. Position requires proper washing, safe handling and dicing and preparation of vegetables and fruits, and assembly, disassembly, cleaning and handling of some automated kitchen equipment used in the preparation of meats, poultry, fish, vegetables & fruits. Food safety and Serv-Safe certifications are a plus. Position is an early AM opening, with scheduled shift often ending by 12:00 noon. Position is part-time, Sunday through Thursday.
