About the Job:
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Analyst helps prepare and analyze the financial data of the Company and assists in the decision-making process of Senior Management. The analyst will work closely with Department Vice Presidents, the CFO and the CEO in evaluating strategic business options.

Essential Functions of Financial Planning Business Analyst

  • Preparing and general analysis of financial reports obtained/developed with various departments such as sales, marketing, production development, manufacturing;
  • Making important analytical observations based on financial reports and statistical analysis;
  • Reading financial statements of the Company, understanding accounting concepts and policies and developing financial models, (projections), related to future performance;
  • Coordinating and tracking financial progress on key initiatives undertaken by the Company or individual Depts.;
  • Hard-core analysis, fact verification, study and research through use of Company’s ERP/Financial systems;
  • Extensive use of spreadsheets and different statistical software to analyze business decisions;


  • Bachelors Degree with a preference for an MBA or equivalent;
  • One to two years of experience in Financial Planning, Strategic Business Decision Making and Data analysis;
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial calculations;
  • Strong problem solving skills required based upon financial and statistical results;
  • Significant experience and ability to utilize planning and analysis applications and personal computer software including spreadsheet applications;
  • Ability to read, interpret and communicate detailed quantitative data to perform the duties previously listed;
  • 1 – 5 Years of Experience;
  • Travel Requirements Limited (5-15 %);
