iDisciple is a digital subscription platform being developed by Family Christian that will deliver customized, biblical, and practical content to subscribers’ mobile devices and
e-mail in a fun and intuitive way. Through iDisciple, users will receive personalized content for their age, stage, season of life, and specific needs. Most importantly, iDisciple will help users grow daily in their walk with God.
iDisciple is currently searching for a Content Management System Specialist.
This individual will be responsible placing processed content from authors, publishing houses, and other organizations onto the iDisciple digital platform.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for placing processed content from authors, publishing houses, and other organizations onto the iDisciple platform.
Utilize the iDisciple filter toolset which is part of our content management system for targeted (men, women, parents, general, etc.) content pushes and placements of promotions and/or advertisements (new book launches, breaking news, holiday messages, etc.).
Responsible to load all content to a channel and set the schedule to automatically feed general or targeted content to subscribers.
Work closely with the Content Acquisition Director and Content Architect to properly coordinate the production calendar.
Send a feature panel promo or feed content to all users during specific times / circumstances (book launch, national disaster, special announcements, etc.)
Review aggregated content to insure it aligns with the iDisciple brand.
Summary of Experience and Education:
BA or BS from an accredited university AND/OR five years of verifiable experience in the online content management field.
Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Internet browsers, Outlook
Knowledge of the Christian non-profit marketplace a plus
Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) (Wordpress, Drupal, etc.)
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Eye for strong content, editorial experience a plus
HTML and web publishing experience a plus
Excellent project management skills
Ability to vet Scripturally-based content
Base compensation of $40K-$50K annually, based on experience
