JOB OPENING – Head Cook

If so, we have a new opportunity that will provide you the arena to demonstrate your skills. We have a new Head Cook position available in our Fast Casual dining Restaurant inside our Family Entertainment Center. We recently won the El Paso 2012 Best Of the Best award thanks to our high quality service and products. We are looking for the right individual to help grow this Multi-Million dollar operation. The Head Cook will be expected to oversee high volume kitchen operations, mentor management and hourly staff, staff schedules, direct contact with inventory control, food/labor cost, and kitchen sanitation.
This position requires hands on guidance to plan the daily work load of all BOH members, write prep list, be able to produce for the present volume of business and peak periods, place orders, develop pars, receive truck deliveries and properly date and rotate product. The Head Cook must demonstrate high expectations and hold BOH staff accountable for delivering.
Cook / Shift Supervisor must be currently or very recently employed as Experienced Line Cook or Head Cook, Shift Supervisor in casual dining restaurant or fast food..
the Head Cook MUST have recent cook/ leadership experience.
Must show experience in similar job position for a minimum of 3 years period.

security policy are met
Management of staff, performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivate and train
Adheres to restaurant company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained by using a preventative maintenance program
Strong operational background and knowledge in the Food and Beverage industry * Exceptional team building skills. Great multi tasking and cooking skills are required.
