Position Description: Windows Network Engineers/Support Consultants to continue to build out, maintain, and enhance our Client's Technology Infrastructures. Provide system administration of all networks, equipment and facilities at the Client site. Systems for Client operations include, but are not limited to, network devices, desktops, laptops, servers, teleconferencing, telephony and all associated applications. The individual must strive to understand the mission of each organization and take an active role in the management of its technology. The individual must be a highly motivated, self-confident professional who can work independently and who possesses the highest level of honesty and integrity.

Typical duties include:
- Managing and maintaining computer networks
- Reselling Company products and solutions
- Upgrading software, adding software, applying patches, performingbackup and recovery operations
- Maintaining and improving processes
- Help Desk duties
- Light sales duties
- End-user and beyond support
- Manage multiple environments
- Communicate effectively and provide real-time feedback
- Build and enhance computing environments with new systems and processes that scale
- Provide resolution to customers having hardware and software related problems
- Optimize the environment; remove bottlenecks, research performance, boost productivity
- Diagnosing and solving PC and network problems
- Create and maintain documentation
- Offer phone support for our existing client base
- General project management duties
- Deploy and maintain virtual environments
- Generate and present status reports
- Provide weekend and after-hours support

Required Skills:
- Proven track record administering Windows networks
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server platforms
- Able to effectively use Visio, SharePoint and Office
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals - IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, cabling, VPN, VLAN
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Solid communication skills both verbal and written
- The ability to initiate and close a sales process
- Entrepreneurial drive
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Use and knowledge of both Open Source software and Commercial software
- Solid knowledge of Cisco product line
- Continued personal growth in knowledge of the industry
- Working knowledge of Linux/BSD/Unix/Mac
- Experience with Enterprise IP telephony

Education, Certifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent Technical certifications and experience (MCITP, MCSE, CCNA, CCT) highly recommended
- 3+ consecutive years in a similar role or position
- Proven ability to work with a small, agile, high-energy team

Physical/Mental Abilities: Candidates must have the physical and mental abilities needed to perform at minimum, all the essential tasks listed above. They must possess the ability to work in a multi-tasking, demanding and occasionally stressful environment. They are required to problem solve and prioritize essential tasks in a detailed manner. Must be able to lift 40 to 75 pounds. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and the ability to deliver projects on time and on budget. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Proficiency testing may be administered to validate and assess skills. Must have a valid and clear N.Y. driver's license. Must be able to pass drug and background testing.
