Overview of the Role
This hands-on position works closely with the Marketing Director in managing and delivering a wide range of online marketing projects related to site updates, email campaigns, promotions, product launches, partnerships and social media programs. The Project Manager will manage copy and design development, review details and share ongoing project status with internal stakeholders, and manage technical execution with development resources, all leading to successful execution of marketing communication plans.
Act as liaison between marketing and development, design and customer support resources
Define business, creative, technical and content requirements
Develop and manage master marketing calendars
Serve as primary day-to-day contact for internal stakeholders regarding project status
Perform and report on competitive analysis, market trends, best practices, analytics
Help define, manage and tune market-specific SEO and SEM strategies
Track and report on key operational metrics including performance, traffic, conversion
Identify and drive marketing opportunities against ROI benchmarks
Research and help write content for marketing campaigns
Manage design development for site pages, emails, collateral, banner ads: procuring assets from various sources and applying knowledge of web standards, messaging, content
Facilitate technical resources and schedules through development processes
Create and post content to social media platforms and blogs while applying best practices to help expand our existing social media communities
Manage and refine marketing and development processes and tools
Own plans thoroughly from concept through delivery, with high adaptability to evolving needs
Coordinate media placement, delivery and production
Offer support for all logistics for seminars and events with partners as needed
Candidate Qualifications / Experience
You have relevant experience managing interactive web projects, and you pride yourself on your organization, communication, and multi-tasking abilities. Specifically, you have:
3-5 years web project management experience, software consumer product a plus; creative space preferred
Experience owning online marketing, social media, web analytics, e-mail marketing programs
Knowledge of web strategy, design, development methodologies, usability and QA processes
Demonstrated experience in leading projects successfully through cross-functional teams
Experience working with design, copy, and development resources
Ability to learn quickly, thrive and work effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Practical experience using customer relationship management techniques and tools such as salesforce.com, email campaign management, lead generation management, development project management applications
Knowledge of HTML and Photoshop
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate project status, issue and maintain launch plans to all stakeholders
Strong analytical skills including ability to conduct research, analyze and present
Ability to multi-task in a fun, fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
Proven ability to drive to completion on time and within budget, with excellent attention to detail
