The Revenue & Technical Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining global revenue policies and practices, recording revenue and addressing global technical accounting matters.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead all technical accounting function within the company to ensure accurate understanding and accounting of accounting implications of transactions both pre- and post-transaction
  • Responsible for working with members of Finance and other departments to deliver accurate internal documentation supporting accounting policy and transactions
  • Primary interface with external auditors on technical matters
  • Support consistent review and upgrading, as necessary, of Finance policies and processes
  • Establish and maintain global revenue policies and practices working with other departments and international personnel
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of global monthly revenue and costs of sales
  • Partner with Billing function to achieve timely and accurate customer invoicing
  • Oversee process for timely and accurate APS and outpayments made to customers
  • Support preparation of revenue data included in monthly reporting package generated by FP&A
  • Support preparation of revenue data included in loan covenant reporting
  • Directly support the revenue and cost of sale portion of annual consolidated audit process working with external auditors and support EMEA Finance staff as necessary on ex-US statutory audits
  • Propose and implement process improvements for streamlining procedures as a part of internal control initiatives
  • Will likely lead SOX initiative as necessary
  • Manage finance cross functional relationships within the company

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Licensed CPA (active)
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to exercise a ‘sphere of influence’ outside immediate team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt in an evolving business environment
  • Positive and “hands on” attitude required
  • At least 5 years experience preferred, at least 3 in Big 4 public accounting
