What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable?

How does 24 Hour Fitness stack up against the competition?

The company is stable right now. The money spent on fitness is expendable, so there is always concern in a down economy. I have worked for 24 Hour Fitness for almost 8 years as a personal trainer. What is not consistent about the company is the management positions at the clubs. The quality of the staff can be very dicey. Each club manger tries to run their clubs the way they want to. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. As I stated I have been with 24 for almost eight years and I have been under 12 different managers! Six different within the last year.
