Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at 3M? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at 3M? |

So good for young, single people without families or lives. No wonder 3M has gone downhill over the years. They forgot where they came from, and they don't care about their employees. |

3M is made up of dozens of extremely varied divisions / business units ranging from health care markets to tape and adhesives to abrasives, and each has it's own

As a customer, the Promotional Division ripped me off - would not honor pricing! Weakest organizational move I have ever seen. |

NO t-shirts! Jeans on Friday only. Big-Bureaucratic. Favor younger workers in a lot of respects. High degree of micro-management stemming from too many Black Belts in the wrong assignments. Days can be 10-15 hrs with expectation you will work at home. No time for happy hour. Bye ~ got to get back to work! |

Incessant drama and narcissism in their marketing department in Austin with a group of women who apparently cannot manage themselves very well. Tons of whispering and gossip to help drive that drama, which borders on freakish. If you have any talent, avoid 3M. |
