Also why won't you mention the name of the company you work for Mr. Recruiter ... Or is your company just a dog with fleas... So let's see the 40k per month you make . So who do you work for Mr. recruiter? I said last month I closed 43K in revenue which amounts to a 21.5K check, I'm not recruiting because I'm not a branch manager as of yet therefore I'm an LO who makes money soley on my own production. I can understand your frustration as an Amerisave employee. It's hard to keep recruiting people and probably losing them, since your check really rides more on recruitment than your own production. By the way xallieguy, only someone with enough negative energy to kill Mother Theresa would respond the way you do. Top producers have made 300K per year with my company, proof can be provided, but I'm not going to post it on the web site for the whole world to see. If you are interested, post your email and I will connect you with the branch manager in your city. You can sit down with them and interview and they will be happy to show you the numbers....."big shot". |

I will have the April check showing the 43K in fees on the 15th of this month, I'll bet you anything you won't post your email, you know why? Because you are a miserable Amerisave recruiter that is probably making 4K a month on your personal prodcution and scrambling on threads, and craigslist and any other form of free advertising to try ot recruit other people into the miserable 4K a month personal prodcution pyramid scheme that is Amerisave. Go ahead and post your email, I will get it to you. |

And by the way, I do have direct deposit. When you are a top producer you kind of have to...most banks don't like to take paper checks when you are clearing more than 10k. It is a lot easier on me as well so I can continue to do what I do best..close loans and cash big checks.....without having to stand in line and wait for my 4k Amerisave check to be cashed to pay the rent and fill up the 1992 Honda Accord that you probably drive. Your attitude is that of a born loser. You will never motivate anyone to ask you about Amerisave. Your attitude defines negativity. I wish you nothing but luck....you do need it. Again, post your email and I will be happy to send it to you. |

I replied before, but recieved no answer. I will say that Schreebs, and his Amerisave co-workers are going the extra mile to show me that their system works - even putting me in contact with a local recruiter in town - a recruiter offering me to even meet with an inbound LO, something some people on this site think doesn't exist. I've made good money the 10 years I've been in this business, and plan to stay in this business, even though times are tricky right now. Again....if you have more info on your opportunity, I wouldn't mind looking at it. |

I'm posting the name of the company due to the number of requests that have been posted for information. I don't want anyone to think I'm not responding, but like I said, I'm not a recruiter, I'm a loan officer that makes a living off my personal prodcution, but do feel that people looking at Amerisave for a career choice should look at our company, Ace Mortgage Funding as a better option. Please visit the website at acerefi.com. There are contact numbers for every branch in the company and the Assistant Vice President's would be the people to contact to set up an interview. I would be happy to make a phone call to any of them to set you up with an interview so both parties can see if it is a good fit. I have the ability to call as many leads as I want on a daily basis, we have underwritng times at 2 days for FHA, less than 24 hours on conforming and can still take clients from initial phone call to closing in 5-6 days. What more, the payout tiers are much better than Amerisave's. Like any good broker company, the branch manager's are always looking to attract top LO's. I'm not a recruiter for our company as that responsibility currently falls on the individual branch manager's, but I do feel people are entitled to options. |

RUN FROM AMERISAVE!!! I started 3 weeks ago, I consider myself a top producer. I was told by the recruiter that the top Inbound Reps are doing over 100k in revenue a month - which is total crap. They send out a weekly report...the average rep is doing 1 app per week! Now here is my main complaint - TEAM LEAD NIGHTMARE! I got this clown, who is really nice...but totally lazy and doesnt give a crap about me. Im assuming he is not paid on the outside reps. I submitted a deal on Friday, nothing happens. Saturday, of course im working and he isnt. Monday, another voicemail and email - BUELLLER? BUELLER? Tuesday I decide to go above his head, his boss lights a fire under his ass and supposedly he is going to "handle it" Did he? Nooooo! I left a good paying job for this crappy infrastructure! *** IF YOU HAVE A GOOD JOB AND A FAMILY TO FEED - PLEASE PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS PLACE!!!!! *** I wanted to write loans, not recruit people with some damn pyramid scheme! |

Im using a false name (like you), so you are making yourself and Amerisave look like the shady folks that you are...you wouldnt know who I am therefore you cant respond intelligently...I bet I can guess who you are - Patrick Markert? Robert Wilkes? Stop lying to hard working people! I think the confusion came in at the point where you said you are guessing that your team lead does not get paid on outside reps, it may lead someone to believe you are an outside reps but that doesn't even really matter. If your team lead drops the ball your loans will be screwed period! No one can deny that. That said, give it a little more time 3 weeks is not very long and as you get to know the system, maybe you can start to work it to your advantage, at least thats what I am hoping! I will be starting probably next week and I know of 2 others close to me in DE that are also doing it, so if you could post your email address so maybe we can bounce ideas off each other to try to make this work. |

I wanted to complain about my team lead, but I was told you cant switch and that the owner is a hot head...so if you speak up then you will either be fired or blacklisted...I was told by my recruiter that everybody on the Inbound Team is making $5-10 k per month...i have 3 loans in 3 weeks and im logged in 8 hrs a day. The day I was hired was the day my slimeball recruiter stopped returning my emails. My wife hates my guts because she said I made a bad move...I keep telling her that I was lied to!!! |

Yep, no need to cause yourself trouble by asking for team lead then. My recruiter also has never tried to contact me either however, I kind of expected as much even though if I were to recruit I would try to keep a rapor with my team in order to maximize my earnings, go figure. From what I have been hearing, you are probably right about the 1 to 2 loans a week because these are internet leads and will most likely only convert about 2 to 3%; lets face it they are A paper with no sense of urgency to move in most cases and rate shoppers,,,the most lethal combination. So although we all fell for the "you will gross 5-10k", if we had really done the math, we should have realized that only a select few will convert at 5-7% and even then you are only looking at 15 to 21 apps a month and by no means will they all close, so we are probably going to be lucky to close 4 to 6 loans a month from what I can tell....former top producer or not, internet leads are the hardest to convert. So we were pretty much "exeggerated" to (I like to say rather than call them straight out liars) but I also think they were actually counting ALL the recruiting you are supposed to do to see those numbers, whereas a lot of people wanted to come in and just do their top producer numbers as they are used to and without actual direct marketing where customers are CALLING YOU, thats hard to do. |

Thomas, do yourself a favor and call Joe Massey at Ace Mortgage Funding in Philly. I still haven't seen 2007 YTD numbers posted by anyone from Amerisave to show top producer numbers. I believe they are openly lying to people and putting them in a situation that they might not have done had they been informed properly. I personally will not stay in the mortgage business for 4-6K or less a month. There are a lot easier jobs to do that pay a salary for that kind of money. |

I find is shocking that this thread is like the fourth item that appears if one googles Amerisave and there isn't one top producer or exec or anyone that can post the YTD numbers (2007) for the best individual production. To me, that is a big red flag. I would love to be proven wrong......I just don't see it happening. |

I personally will not stay in the mortgage business for 4-6K or less a month. There are a lot easier jobs to do that pay a salary for that kind of money. There are several reasons why I can't pursue that just yet: One, I need to stay home for probably the next 3 to 6 months, so that was my main reason going this route. Two, I need to get in and at least close a few loans to cover the cost of the software. Three, I have heard of ACE in Philly (few people that used to be at Chase are now there) and it is about 30-45 minutes from me however, I was told they are internet leads also, again the hardest to convert. So with the gas money & the time needed to chase down the leads (lets face it that is about 50% of the battle) I'm up in the air as to how they can be converted any better and since they are a broker we need to up the fees in order to see a nice commission per loan and if they are A paper they are VERY fee and rate conscious. How are you handling that aspect? And how much fees do you typically get away with charging in order to see nice commissions? |
|

does that ACE mortgage recruit people like Amerisave ? |

Closing Loans in Colorado in Parker, Colorado 6 months ago |
Thomas Guest in Phia, Pennsylvania said: There are several reasons why I can't pursue that just yet: It's easy, at Amerisave there is about 1.38% profit built into every loan. I can do the loan for that as well if needed, and believe it or not, the rates at Amerisave aren't any better, in fact with the real rate sensative customers, I can actually give a client a lower rate than Amerisave and make more profit on it than 1.38%. I handle rate like I do every objection or concern. I don't ignore, I explain the options of fee vs rate, and I let the borrower choose where they want to be. Easy enough. Some clients are willing to pay me what I deserve on a file, some want it all for free. I routinely tell people that they are not worth the time for a 1% or less fee, I will let the poor SOB's at Amerisave chase that loan and go out of business. I'll spend my time on the clients that value me. |

Jungle Bucks in Lake Stevens, Washington 6 months ago |
Hey All. I've spent the last 2 hours reading back wards on this and it seems people are starting to poke sticks at each other. Well it got news for ya'll in case you didn't already know... The Mortgage biz IS the Jungle,& Jungle rules apply. When the market (Jungle) changes you either have to adapt to it or perish. My mortgage career began early in the refi boom. I was working as a LO for a Broker getting biz only off internet leads & inbound calls. leads & inbound calls. As the boom was ending I did everthing from direct mailings to cold calling 2/28 rollovers. I moved on to doing targeted emails to real estate agents & brokers and succesfully developed a steady pipeline of 2 to 4 unit real estate investor clients. When GreenPoint & the other more swashbuckling lenders went under... in the course of 2 weeks my entire pipeline fell out... boo hoo, poor me... since I view myself as a career finacing professional & my primaty thoughts, after recovering mentaly from the loss of significant unrealized income was... NEXT Earlier this evening I looked into Amerisave, and even though I thought the name was sort of corny, I submitted info on line & will attend the Webinar tomorrow evening. At this phase of the Mortgage Jungle I would be extemely happy to have 8 to 12 live transfer in bound calls a day. Heck, anybody with experience & decent game should be able to convert that into 8 funded deals a month. Alas, & unfortunatly for me, my mortgage income was under the 70k mark last year... so that won't be an immediate option for me, LOL. I wish everybody who's posted here all the best of luck & good fortune and this thought... Succesfull people focus on what they want & how to get it. The Unsuccesful focus on there problems & unhappiness & who & what's to blame. Here's one of my emails nowmax@hotmail.com ATB |

shepardsandra, thanks for the info! Now..before anyone says anything..I'm not here to recruit! I just want share my own experience with Amerisave and I'm open to hear about other opportunities as well. I've working for Amerisave as an external loan officer at 70% commission and closed 2 Loans out of 100 Internet Leads. Keep in mind that most of these leads are from rate shoppers and lots of bogus info...and still I closed 2 loans...1 with a Lender's dream excellent credit and the other one with a self employeed stated income that took few months but due to the customer's situation so I know Amerisave can close both easy and difficult loans! Regardless of which Lender you work...Amerisave or Acer..or Chase..you'll have to know the business and how to sell. I'm sure many of you with more experience than me could have closed several deals out of these 100 leads. Amerisave's market niche is Internet Savvy users with good credit...they're an Internet Lender and people with too many credit challenges should work with local brokers holding hands thru the process. Again..Internet Leads is one source of business...a Loan Officer should build other revenues of leads...professional relationships with realtors...accountants...lawyers to get more clients regardless of any company...if you have the skills and relationships you will succeed anywhere. This is the beauty of this business...you're your own boss...at least with Amerisave that let's you work from home...gives you a eFax, personal webpage and if you good..even some Live Transfers from customers in your area...and no problems about getting your check direct deposited after your loans are closed. I can't say anything bad about a company that gave me this opportunity...it depends on you to work it out. They're working hard hiring more processors and team leaders to support the External Sales Team....response time has already improved and they have a live online helpdesk to answer some of the answers. |
|
ROMEPOWER in Laguna Beach, California 6 months ago |
to answer some of your questions! Live... Your personal website has the potential of receiving apps 24/7 and provide rates to your customers. Everything is automated and soon you receive an app..call the customer..finalize the Loan's detais and set it to Manager's Review. Appraisal will be ordered and if you turn in a complete App with Income Docs...your loan will be closed. If you turn in Apps with missing Docs...or customers that have several credit challenges...fail to give your proper info and forget to tell you that other people are on the Deed...of course it will take longer to work it out ...this is the same of any Lender...there is no magic in this business..at least not anymore! |

RomePower - perhaps the external or outside team has a better structure. Maybe better team leads with less volume of deals therefore better focus. 2 deals out of 100 is pretty good. How much did you spend for those 100 internet leads? Last I heard they were charging $20 a pop or $30 for ones with Social Sec #'s, is that accurate? |
|
ROMEPOWER in Laguna Beach, California 6 months ago |
Very good point WingMan... just like every other company.. depends on which team and management you have. The leads are $20 for REFIs and $24 with SS...$10 for Found Homes and $5 for Still Looking. So far I'm using my leads that Amerisave provided at 50% discount not long ago to all employees so I'm paying half of those fees. I've invested about $500 and earned few thousands...you're right..it wasn't bad and I'm still training. Like I said...many of you here would've made more than than 10K with my same leads.

Just an fyi - i was told by a former co-worker at Amerisave that now they have everybody on the Inbound Team on an auto dialer. It used to be that there was a Telemarketing Team that would call the leads and warm transfer the caller to you. I guess they closed that dept, because now they have the Loan Advisor doing all the outbound dialing. Might work for some...if you are not willing to dial out than this new tech will bother you. |

You do need to be a good salesperson, but more importantly you need to know how to process from start to finish. I was amazed at how many emails I would get every day of "Citi not current," "CW not current." There is too much to keep an eye on. It was not worth the time and effort. Again, DO NOT QUIT YOUR JOB. If anything, go on a leave of absence. |
