If anyone has the answers to these questions, I would greatly appreciate the feedback: I'm curious as to whether Amerisave provides all it's L/O's with a dedicated office line, e-fax, email, website, etc., OR if these items are only provided to the L/O's that qualify to take inbound live transfer leads? If you plan on just purchasing your own internet leads, do you have to get your own toll-free line and pay for it, etc.? Also, what is the split on referral business? That is business that does not come off of internet leads, but deals that I bring to to the table entirely on my own? I have been toying with the idea of joining Amerisave since August. However, I don't want to be caught up in some mortgage MLM weird scheme or something. Thank you. |

They provide you with a website that is mirrored to the amerisave.com website except anything that a prospect enters on your will be sent to you. They provide you with email and a e-fax line with a atlanta area code. If you don't qualify for the inbound call center (must have made 70K plus last year with tax statements to prove it, no exceptions) then you have to have a cell phone or VOIP line and proof. I went out and got the VOIP for $25/month (Vonage) and I can have it automatically forwarded to my cell phone when I choose. Commission splits will be the same regardless, you just didin't pay for a lead(50-80%) whatever you qualify for when you apply This is the most technologically advanced company I have ever seen! It's really remarkable, I give them a lot of credit for putting this whole thing together. If you want some more info shoot me an email: dcmiller@amerisave.com or you can check out what the partner site looks like: www.amerisave.com/partner/dcmiller |

I don't know, I am signing up for inbound call program tomorrow. I've been a broker for two years so I think I can handle chasing everything myself and underwriting enough to know what I need and don't. I'll keep posting with my experiences on here with a deluge of incoming leads. I predict a spike in my income over the next few months. :) |

Read the other blogs. Stick where you are if you are earning more $8K or more per month. The technology is great, it is the processing that is severely not up to par. |

This is just one of many ongoing technical issues they are having, and if you are not tech savy, or have the right computer/internet equipment, you are #@$! up the creek. So if you do upgrade your service, you may want to make sure you are not stuck with a long-term contract.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone, We have discovered an issue on our end. We will have an engineer work on this tonight. It is still very important that everyone have service that gives you a score of 4.0 or better using testmyvoip.com to Boston. This can usually be accomplished by upgrading your service or switching providers. |

As one can tell from reading these posts I am looking at this company myself. As far as VOIP one I would recommend for outside agents for any company is Magicjack I use them for a number for my Dallas Office Contact and my VA contact. The phone quality is good and it is $20 a year, not a month like Vonage. You should make certain that the area code you want is available before you purchase, just an FYI that company is adding them but they are growing so fast it is a tad nuts getting every area code. With any VOIP you should get as fast a internet connection as possible for your area. I would recommend 5mg+ (IE: cable internet) but there are setting you can change on your PC and router for better VOIP performance at the min 5mg set up. Now it seems that they have an internet application that streams with the phone system so You might want 2-4 gigs of ram pref on a XP based system since VOIP of all kinds hate VISTA settings. Again I do not know the company but this is basic A+ computer stuff here folks. Sure min requirements are much less for their or any system, but if you have Office Open working a lead file, their application, a phone system of your own, the internet running on 2-3 windows, and other things going on you want more memory. Memory is cheap don't be cheap with your PC. You could use a current $500 computer and increase the base 1-2 gig ram to 3-4 gig for $100-150 depending on the ram, the machine and the unit. Before you buy a PC make certain how many slots are open for memory. If they do not know at best buy or wherever you are looking move on or get them to open the display unit and look. If you are using VISTA because of its needs you need a ton of memory to do anything so think at least 4gigs of ram for all of your office needs. No laptop here guys use a home tower they are cheaper and will last better at 10 hour days of use because of cooling. Later buy a laptop with some juice to it with a commission check. |

They give you the eyebeam software so all you need is a headset with usb cord, period. Friend got one from Circuit City for 24.99 been using it for over 2 1/2 months and its fine. The only reason some people say to get a SKYPE account is in case their phone system goes down, you can still use the VOIP phone to make calls but it is so not necessary. Save your money, no need for anything additional. And said friend has a laptop with VISTA absolutely NO problems! As long as it is in a router and not wireless, a laptop works just fine but you do want a lot of memory, Intel2 duo works great)and fast internet provider. |

Thanks again Thomas solid comments. The only reason I mention MagicJack is the cost for an alternate line I mean $20 a year with free calling in the USA, Mexico, and CAN, not bad. Also the quality is good. I also believe in offering many ways for someone to contact me in any field I am in. Further I was referring to the outside sales folks the non transfered or auto dialer folks whom are in the field more than taking calls all day at the home office. You can get a USB headset for $14 from any Wal-mart as well that is fine I used it with skype for 2 years before they were purchased by eBay jacked their rates and then I went to magic jack. |
