It will get you about an extra $1200 per month. There are no travel requirements and the health benefits are great. The biggest perk for employees is that you get to work from home, they provide you with a dedicated business line, e-fax, e-mail, website and 8-12 live transfer leads per day. It doesn't get much better than this as far as working as a loan officer. This position does require experience, but I have never been happier with a company. On top of this, you can recruit loan officers to work for Amerisave nationwide. You will earn an override off of every loan that a recruit closes. This in combination with your own personal production allows the potential for huge income growth. I'm almost to the point where I'm earning just as much from my recruits as I am from my personal production. And I close a lot of loans! |

I'm eager to get started right away. I've been to a bunch of mortgage companies and people aren't eatin' right now. I saw the whole presentation and thought it was very impressive. I'm signing up tomorrow. |

Hey Investments619 in S.D., what have you experienced from a month with Amerisave? I'm thinking of jumping on, too. |

Read the other blogs. Stick where you are if you are earning more $8K or more per month. The technology is great, it is the processing that is severely not up to par. Look elsewhere. |

Dali in North Hollywood, California said: it did slow down, but you can survive Anytime you start off with unrealistic expectations such as the ones you quoted about 22 years old workers and such; YOU LOSE ALL CREDITABILITY! All you will attract is either VERY naive people or below average people that can seem to find their way and are looking for some easy solution! Side Note: When people are vague about opportunities and they are just trolling websites, it's also not a good sign! |

Wo! Who! Rates are Up! (as I told you they would be and will get higher) Applications are way Down! (As I also told you and will go lower) Check MBA if you doubt me. For those that don't know that's the Mortgage Bankers Assoc. They keep track of that sort of stuff. Furthermore, I don't know how anyone in good conscience (I guess it's ignorance or they don't know how to do anything else) could arrange a loan to purchase a property they know will be worth much LESS next yr. That is a fact. Values are going doooown in most areas! Go hide your head in the sand if you want to feel better about it. I guess because they are strangers it doesn't matter so much. Would they do it to a loved one or friend? Remember what goes around comes around. |

regarding commission structure. What does Amerisave pay the loan officer upon loan closing? ie. If they give an LO 5 transfers per day and the LO closes 1 per day -- what type of commission is paid? |

Homecomings-GMAC has just exited the business, which was one of the better conforming lenders, pricing wise for brokers. There is still SENDERRA who is still pricing pretty good but not as good as GMAC was. Mike forget about it! Don' waste your time with Amerisave. Use your common sense do you REALLY think that a company is going to pass you 5 transfers a day and you are going to close one a day? Even when the industry was at its best with good appraisals and hundrends of products to offer, you weren't converting at a 20% rate on internet leads! So how in the world are you asking about the payout for an astronmical payout on a rate conscious, barely qualifying, low appraisal customer? SIDENOTE: while everyone else has slashed jobs and entire companies, this company is hiring, they try to make that a positive but REALLY think about the news media, the housing market and the economy as a whole...I mean really think about it...does this make sense? Only if you are NOT an expensive to them. Like Wells Fargo, Soveriegn Bank and others, they hire employees who MUST get their own business by building relationships and they are on 100% commission, except for the laptop provided they are no expensive to the company. Now here is AMERISAVE increasing their DEBT LOAD by supplying you with leads (cheap or not they pay something) with absolutely no idea if you will convert even one, Why? 1st off they are on audiodailer therefore count on more like 50+ transfers.
You get 22% of the revenue and you have to take 10% for something like loss revenue and another 10% for payroll and then your regular taxes...you do the math. Do yourself a favor as most have done, either go with a respected lender inside or go into another profession until the market turns around, which it will do in time |

*** WARNING ** Stay away from a company thats still soliciting for Loan Officers who want to "make 10-20k a month" with inbound leads - oh my god thats so funny my side hurts. The Team Leads are terrible, dont even think about submitting a tough deal or a pre approval - your team lead will ditch you!! Lazy, incompetent, and liars. Now Amerisave is branching out to Insurance - next it will be tupperware products. Hey lets sell cars too! They took a brilliant business model that big companies like Ditech/GMAC perfected - and totally blew it. You will not make any money here, and if you do - you could be doing for a lot more somewhere else. |

AMEIRSAVE IS A JOKE AND INSULT TO ANY HUMAN BEING THAT IS HONESTLY TRYING TO GET THE JOB DONE AND EARN A LIVING. 1ST OF ALL THEIR FEES ARE HIGHER THAN ANY BROKER SHOP...MAYBE THE SAME AS THE BIG BANKS. THEY DO HAVE GOOD TECHNOLOGY, ONLINE CURRENT RATES...THE COMMISSION IS 80% FROM 50% PROFIT ON THE FRONT..THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT..BUT YOU DONT' GET PAID FROM THE YSP PROFIT. THE WORST PROBLEM WITH THEM WAS THE SUPPORT. WHEN YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER CALLING FOR AN UPDATE ON THEIR LOANS AND YOU CALL AND EMAIL YOUR TEAM LEAD OR PROCESSOR FOR AN ASSISTANCE AND CAN'T GET THEM TO RETURN YOUR MESSAGES...THRE ARE NO RESPECT FOR AN EMPLOYEE TRYING TO FEED A FAMILY AND THE CUSTOMER THAT IS COUNTING ON THEM TO GET A LOAN..THERE IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY JUST DON'T CARE! THERE ARE FEW MAKING MONEY...THOSE THAT HAVE CONNECTIONS INSIDE THE COMPANY AND GET THE VIP SUPPORT...I GUESS THOSE ONES THAT PERSONALLY KNOWS EVERYONE AT CORP. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS COMPANY IS STILL IN BUSINESS....JUST CHECK THE BBB FOR HUNDREDS OF UNRESOLVED COMPLAINTS AGAINST AMERIDAVE...AND LET'S NOT FORGET RIPOFFREPORT.COM WHERE YOU WILL BE HORRIFIED WITH CUSTOMERS STORIES THAT WHEN I READ THEM I FELT LIKE I WROTE THEM BECAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT SOME OF MY CUSTOMERS AND I AS A LO WENT THRU...FOR EXAMPLE..IF A PROCESSOR QUITS OR GETS FIRED...DO YOU YOU THING THE PROCESSING DEPT WILL NOTIFY THE LO TO CONTACT ANOTHER PROCESSOR? ANYONE WOULD THINK SO..RIGHT? NOT AT AMERISAVE...THEY DON'T CARE...THEY GO GET LOTS OF BUSINESS AND CAN'T HANDLE THE VOLUME..BUT THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO TREAT EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS LIKE GARBAGE JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN AFFORD TO TURN WAY BUSINESS DUE TO THEY HIGH MARKETING CAMPAIGNS ON BANKRATE.COM WHICH IS ANOTHER SITE OF LIARS. |
