I am a former AT&T employee that is attempting to return to the company. When I was a CSR at AT&T, I had a very good record. I always met or exceeded all measured tasks/responsibilities. In addition, I received acknowledgement from CEO of AT&T West, VP of my division's sales, Executive Director and Director of my department for going above and beyond my job responsibilities.
I am concerned about my applications because I was convicted of a DWAI (wet and reckless) after I left AT&T, nearly 5 years ago. Some of the positions that I have applied for have the requirement of a 'decent driving record.'
Given my stellar performance with AT&T (but taking into consideration my conviction), what do you think my chances of getting the opportunity to interview for the driving and non-driving related jobs?
