I did the AT&T app online for the Sales Consultant position, got all the way to the CCA test earlier this week, passed it, and afterwards I was informed that I would be contacted by someone else for an interview. How long will this take? I completed the test on the 10th of April. Also, after I go through the interview, how long will I have before I am on someone's payroll? I really need to begin working like YESTERDAY! ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. It took me six weeks to hear , the process is very long. It took me a total of 6 months before i was hired . Its definetly worth the wait for the benefits and pay plus the people treat u like family. I wish you the best . |

FromDetroitLivesInSaginaw in Saginaw, Michigan said: Does any one know how to get in touch with HR in Saginaw. I took the CCA test 2 weeks ago and passed. I was Tolstoy that I'd hear from someone in 2 weeks to schedule an interview. I still haven't heard anything. Did u get an email indicating that you passed your exam? If so it should have your hr reps email information on that and u should be able to email them . There is no direct contact number most of it is done through email . If u dont have that information you will have to wait for them to call u for an interview and that shouldnt take too long . It took me about 3 weeks to hear after my test. I wish you the best . |

I wanted to fill you all in on my experience. I've been keeping tabs on this board for about a week, so it only seems to be appropriate to chime in... Application/testing: May 8th
In a nutshell, the process has been very quick for me. There was never a need for me to call and bug HR about anything -- honestly, I'm a firm believer in waiting things out and not pestering my interviewers. As of today (June 6th), my status says: "Awaiting final decision". All of my interviews went extremely well -- no surprises, no frills. Who knows when HR will get back to me... I have no intention on calling and bothering them about that (I'd be annoyed if I were them). My fingers are crossed, my faith is here. I will let you all know as soon as I hear back about whether or not I have been selected. |

I applied for the Sales Consultant position on May 16 then took the assessments May 20. I waited about a week then I contacted a staffing rep via email asking when I should receive a call to set up an interview. I passed all assessments and I was told that I would be put on the qualified list and that the staffing manager would then look at all of the qualified applicants decide who to hire. This is weird to me because I would think I should go through an interview process first right? Could someone let me know what this could mean and whether I have a good chance or I'm just be given the run around? Thanks! |

This reply is for colada1783, what position did you apply for and did you have previous experience with phone carriers? What do you think set you apart from the thousands of applicants? |
|
colada1783 in California 11 months ago |
@Pink1908: I applied for a Sales Consultant position. No previous experience with phone carriers, but I did have prior customer service experience. I'd love to answer your last question in full detail, but I would feel like I'm back at the interview -- to sum it up, I'm confident. Who knows if there were literally thousands of applicants. I saw about 15 of these postings around my area at the time I applied. I could have just been a part of a smaller applicant pool. Who knows. Update: as of today (Tuesday) my status says, "completed". I'm not going to be complacent and assume that I got the job based on that. I haven't gotten a phone/call e-mail either, so I'm fine with waiting to see what will happen. Take care. |

Ahh... This has been the most painful wait and job interview process I've ever been through. But it finally paid off! I applied for the RSC job early May and finally got word that I will start my training in July. ATT never updated my status on the careers site throughout the process. I wish everyone that applied GOODLUCK! Patiences is a virtue. =) |

Hello again everyone -- I wanted to update you all and let you guys know that I received my contingent offer from AT&T and finally completed the background check/drug test process. Some advice: if your status is at "Completed" and you're waiting to hear back from HR, now is the time to start gathering up ALL of your W-2s/1099s from the past 5 years. If you can't find your W-2/1099 for a certain year, call the IRS and request a W-2 transcript (it's free!). Be sure to have it faxed over to you - that will take literally less than an hour. Anyway, it's good to start getting your docs ready because chances are that HireRight WILL request date verification from those documents. I haven't had any issues with them needing contact information. I simply put down the number of the business that can be found in any phone directory/yellow pages. If they do ask for additional contact info, check to make sure that your former employer is not out of business - that's usually the reason for HireRight needing the extra info. Overall, this process took about a week to be completed -- no complaints here. It was very much an easy process. :-) |

I have been reading over this thread & it has so much helpful info. This is great!!! But I would like to share my process info with you guys... So I applied to AT&T in Birmingham, Al on June 16. I received a call from hr on June 20, this was my phone interview. He asked me to come in for a face2face the following day which was June 21, that interview went very well. When my interview was over the interviewer asked if it was ok if he called the store manager to see when he would be able to meet with me. The store manager agreed to meet with me the next day which was June 22. I met with him & the staff at his store, everyone was really nice & I think it went really well. He told me that I should be hearing back from hr... This is where I stand as of today. I'm so anxious to start!!! What do u guys think? I really hope I get it. |

Hi, I've taken CC Audition test here in Macon,Georgia today. I was told that I would have to take another test online that will be sent to me in my email and that I should have it by the time I get home. This test has to be taken by 8am, Sunday morning. I haven't receive it in my email yet. Is there anyone in the Macon area who had the CC Audition today and also have actually received the email with the assessment test? |

Hey everyone just found these forums! My application has been in the system for a while now. I see most people here are applying for store positions, wheras i am going for an On premises Technitian job. My status has been changed in the system to "Awaiting HR review". Has anyone else been at this step. (i perused the forum but could not find anyone else with this specific status. It looks as though they have closed the app process for this particular position, but opened up another one, so i also filled out the app for that, just in case. I havent talked to anyone on a the phone, but they did have me already take the test for the position, which they gave us our results(pass or not) within minutes of taking it. Just wondering what the next step might be, and if this status is a promising one. I think total time at this point for me is about a month or so, so after seeing most ppl say it takes 3 to 6 months, im not overly worried...yet. ;) |

Hi guys, I filled out an application for a sales support representative position on June 20th. I received a call from a staffing manager on June 21st who asked me some pre-screening questions and gave me an in-person interview date and time with the regional manager. I interviewed with the regional manager at the corporate office on June 22nd, and he said that I should be hearing from the store manager for another interview. The store manager called me in for an interview on June 24th. I asked him about the process, and he said the next step is the drug test, background check, and educational/employment verification check, and if that checks out, then I do training. So far, my status on AT&T account says, "Resume forwarded to hiring manager for review," updated on June 24th. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to expect next? Am I supposed to receive a call/email about the background check and drug testing? Is my status supposed to change? The store manager did not mention when I should hear from anyone for the next steps. Thank you in advance, and good luck to all prospective and new hires! :)

Hey everyone, I'm chiming in from Atlanta, GA. These forums have looked to be very beneficial to many so I'm hopeful someone can help me out I applied for an AT&T Sales Consultant Position here in Atlanta at the beginning of this month. I believe this is the inbound call center position. I took the CC Audition test and 2nd test on June 17th. I qualified/passed on each portion that I took. After that I was told to just keep looking out for an email. Today is June 28th and I still haven't heard/received anything. Should I be expecting an email or a phone call? Does it normally take this long for them to contruct interviews after a testing session? Seems like it's been a speedier process for some. It just kinda sucks to feel like you might be wasting your time or something. |

Will keep you all posted for those who find this helpful in their pursuit. :) Prayers please! :) God bless you all! |
