Cablevision has computer tests for customer service skill, math and being able to handle multiple windows. These are pretty simple, they even supply a calculator. The interviewer will talk to you about various situations & you need to come up with answers that sound good & show yourself & the company in a positive light. If you can handle yourself on the phone, keep the customers happy while representing the company in a positive light & convey that in the interview you should be OK. The training is extensive. You must be able to keep to your assigned schedule. Clocking in & out on time is very important in the call center as well as all time & attendance issues.

The benefits are fantastic. Free cable & healthcare are the highlights. The healthcare plan is excellent with no lifetime maximum.

Well, I am sorry to hear that. I was told if you fail the test you could re-apply & take the test again in 30(?) days. Good luck with your job search. I'm sure you'll find something. Make sure you don't give any employer the impression you're desperate. It will make you look less valuable in their eyes.
