It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Abbott Laboratories?

Any advice on striking the right note?

In the interview they don't ask "traditional" questions. Usually there are two or more interviewers and they throw scenario based questions at you to see how you would resolve the case.

One question that was thrown at me was "if you were a Project Manager and your project was behind because the cost center did not allocate enough funds, what would you do?"

I was a Project Manager for a family real estate company and we were always looking at cost cutting. If this was my scenario I would ask for further financial allocation or find a way to work within the allowances I had left. A company must decide whether cost cutting is what their reputation is based on. It is reality in todays world.
