Every business has its own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Academy Awning? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Academy Awning? |

Academy Awning has a very high turn-over rate. They act like they want to have a positive, productive, and growth oriented company environment, but do not hesitate to let an employee go if they do not immediately fit into their role. I worked there briefly and saw several people get fired without getting an entire 90 day trial period. Two people were fired in less than two weeks of working there. They told everyone that one of those employees had decided to "explore other career options" but they told me they were fired. This company is going through severe growing pains and I would look for employment elsewhere. Even if it sounds like a good fit, odds are you will be looking for another job soon. |

As expressed previously by another former employee; an EXTREMLY high turn-over rate. The overall environment is emotionally draining. Rather than executing a problem in a professional and polished manner, blame and childish temper tantrum like rants are yelled and dragged along throughout the day for all to hear by upper executives. Unprofessional approach to employees and quick to hire and fire. Look elsewhere if you are in search of a pleasant and lasting work environment. You will not find it here. |
