Why so many staffing co. ?

I am looking for a local job at portland for software QA. I feel very hard. I can't believe there are tons of stafing co here. All the jobs posted are from them.

These staff co sometimes will have multiple postings of the same job. And they disappear forever after they called you and got your resume. I lost my interest on them and stop applying the jobs they post.

but where is the job ?

Most recuiters find job posting on line and then list them on their web sites. I find that if you look carefully at the listing from recruiters you can find where the job is by doing a bit of research,,,,and most times the jobs are direct hire. I do not deal with recruiters because they are a total waste of time. The best thing to do is write a cover letter for your resume and send it to companies you would like to work for. Then follow thru with phone calls.
