I was in an interview with the recruiter, he couldn't tell me anything about the job except they wanted 10-key and alphanumeric tested. First temp agency I've ever seen that appears to have the company make all the decisions, and they can't do anything themselves. Also first temp agency I've seen that says, "if you have a problem while on assignment, you still have to fulfill your contract" More importantly, the guy was an *ss. Specifically, your typical pr*ck. Told me to my face multiple times that I'm against the system, he actually stated that I "Hate The Man." and cannot place me where there will be issues. He didn't seem to understand anything I told him about my previous experience. He decided that my previous temp work will be lumped together, and not count a position I took in another state as a seasonal worker for a plant nursery. In fact, he didn't seem to understand what that meant, either. When I explained it, he stated he didn't like my language, and can't place me somewhere I may say something inappropriate and get the 'client' upset. He decided quickly that he did not like me, and if I wasn't white, I would be suing for discrimination. But I worked at a big insurance company for over 4 years. If I'm all against the system, and have 'bad language', how did I do the following: Start as a temp for about a 2-3 month assignment, get kept on for almost a year, Get hired on full time, get kept on after elimination of the position I was doing, Get promoted to the new position, and end with pay $5,000 higher than when I started? |

"and not count a position I took in another state as a seasonal worker for a plant nursery." forgot to clarify this. was my only work for a year. That means I have a gap I can't explain. and without it, and work lumped together, it doesn't show much for me. |
