Is it possible that Aerotek is even worse then RHI? Hard to believe. I guess if you want a good burger flipping job or a brake dancing position these are your companies!

I have to agree with Steve. The recruiters at RHI are ghetto and sleezy. I left that place faster than lightening.

If Aerotek is anything like RHI, I will tell them not to call me anymore as I did with RHI.

In response to the original post - it would be extremely surprising to me to believe that anyone can possibly be worse that RHI.

RHI's "ace in the hole" is that they post more fake jobs than anyone else and are believed (by the uninitiated) to be the leader in Accounting/Finance placement.

That being the case, when it turns out they do nothing for you - it is that much more of a disappointment.

The cherry on top is (in New York and Tucson, anyway) they don't have the common decency to even return a phone call.

RHI/Accountemps is the only recruiting firm I would never consider going to again.

I definitely think RHI is worse than Aerotek. I have been called twice into RHI on the promise of a job. They had me come into the office for a so called job opportunity when I got the receptionist had me fill out all sorts of paperwork from profile and job history to tax forms and citizenship status. They then had me take a series of computerized tests which I passed with high marks. I was told then to sit an wait in the lobby. Mind you I arrived at 9 am and it is now approaching 2pm. Finally after bugging the receptionist a few ties about my representative some other guy came out and sat me in a small conference room (round table and 4 chairs). He apologized and said that my representative as not available and that the job opening was through another RHI firm and that they had not been able to get that representative on the phone. The substitute agent told me that I be hearing from them by the end of the week regarding the job. I never heard from them again even after several phone calls to RHI. As I said this happened to me twice and they are on my black list. I feel that the employees of RHI get commissions for people they bring in and get full background information on. I would not be surprised if they sold this information to 3rd party firms
