I would like to inform everyone that would like to apply or has applied already at aerotek through caremark to please not waste their time because they are very unorganized and very unprofessional. Aeortek is another piece of crap company, they will contact you a million of times set you up for an interview, and once you have done all of that and you are then hired at CAREMARK PHARMACY in TROY or anywhere else as a contract to hire position, within one week caremark will tell you we're going to let you meaning you are fired. Caremark is a very unprofesional company, they do not know what they are doing, and they have hired and fired people within a week, couple of months for no reason. They do that because they do not want to give benefits to their employees and I might add as well that they treat their employees like [Edited by Host] <inappropriate language deleted>

BS recruiters in Pleasanton, California 59 months ago |
I would have to agree with you, their recruiters seem to tell you what you want to hear and do very little. Plus, a lot of these temp jobs are with companies which seem to have a difficult time hiring regular employees....bad bosses, cheap companies, companies which sold and are planning to close, etc. I think, after working at a temp site for a month or two, I think they are a waste of time. Plus, if you have unemployment benefits that can hurt you as well…keep sending out resumes and interviewing. You will get something |

This sounds like a stunt pulled by the agency Comforce. They sent me on an assignment and I told them I was not qualified for the position as a claims examiner...I had only worked as a medical consultant handing disability claims. I told the Resource Manager and the Recruiter what was going on and about the difficulties that I was encountering. They just said tell them you want the job...I didn't tell that lie.

I agree with the comment about Caremark. They appear to be very unprofessional. They contact you and sometimes will ask you why they contacted you. Then it just fizzles out and you don't hear anymore from them. Sedgwick constantly recruits but when are they ever really interested in an applicant. High turnover seems to be a problem since they are always recruiting and can't maintain staffing. That's a sure sign of a company you don't want to work for. |

So PLEASE I would recommend everyone not to apply and waste their time because believe me it will happen, I dont want anyone to go through what I went through all that hard work for nothing, apply somewhere where its actually a good company without people treating you like a piece of crap, firing you for no reason, and where its a comfortable work zone setting, Thank You! Did you work for Caremark Specialty Pharmacy? I worked one day in the pharmacy and I had a bad feeling about it. |

Total incompetence at Caremark in Chicago, Illinois 48 months ago |
I have to agree that working with this company is a pure joke. I worked with them for 18 months in the Chicago suburbs and they didn't have the common decency to let me know the contract was ending. I was a security data specialist, protecting data through various clients. The team I worked with was totally incompetent. Not educated in the least and did not know how to do their jobs, yet they were fulltime employees. I was a contractor that got extended for 18 months, because of my performance. Unfortunately, they didn't like the recruiting company I contracted through (Ajilon) and wanted to cut all ties with them. I just wish they had the common courtesy to tell me my contract was ending (They didn't tell Ajilon either, until it was too late). Fortunately, I'm working a fulltime permanent job and I'll never do contracting again because of the way they treated me. Not allowed to participate in meetings etc..Nevertheless, they'll be getting laid-off soon, because of the merger with CVS. It hasn't happened as of date, but it is surely coming in this dismal economy. Pure incompetence will not have legs in this current economy. They better hope I'm wrong because if they lose their jobs they will not get another one anytime soon, because most IT jobs require at least a college degree, which most at Caremark I worked with didn't have. |

Okay, first, Aerotek is contacting YOU to help YOU find a job and they wouldn't have contacted YOU in the first place if you didn't apply through them at some point, if you tell them to stop contacting you they will because they now know that they will not get any business from you and would rather not waste their time. Secondly, Aerotek wants to keep you working because that means more money for them. I received several interviews through them and they help you every step of the way. They even let you know the style of interviewing that the interviewer will use, what to wear, how to study up for it, help build your resume, etc. With whichever company they staff you for the company decides when to let you go not Aerotek, they simply have to do the crappy part of actually firing you. They are the ones that you call when you are going to be late and they fight for your job because THE MORE YOU WORK THE MORE MONEY THEY MAKE!! I now work at Aerotek and the people here are amazing and all have bachelor degrees unlike the unemployment agency or other staffing companies where you are talking with idiots who couldn't care less whether you get/hold a job or not. Stop kicking the messenger and start kicking the company that actually fired you, or better yet start kicking yourself because if you were a good employee they wouldn't have fired you anyway. P.S. Aerotek has been recruiting for 25 years and finds hundreds of thousands of people jobs each year. If the company were that bad you wouldn't be one of a small handful of complainers. |

I worked for Caremark for 4 1/2 years. I have never worked anywhere else where there was a lack of professionalism. There were times when my manager called me in her office & yelled at me about a mistake I had made, asked about FMLA I had called about & why I needed it, never told me I was doing good on something. She came by the other day and took me into HR. She told me I had only partially met my job for the past two years and not received any bonuses or increases. I received a full bonus in Jan. of 2008 and a partial one in 2008. I have received some increases because my hourly wage has incresed. This past year I have done a good job and have not been getting any complaints. Even the other supervisors have asked for my help. Everything got doe and there was always office supplies, paper and toners. I don't understand how she could say I partially met my job needs for last year. She dismissed me from my job & wouldn't let me go back in to get my things. She escorted me to my car. It made my feel embarrassed and hurt my esteem. She said I could call her and set a time to meet to get my other things. My friend who still works there said they told her not to say anything and everywhere she goes there is a supervisor watching her. Something does not seem right. I believe she intends to hire someone younger and with more pharmacy experience. She knew I had Crohns Disease, which is under control, and arthritis in my feet. I had two surgeries while I was there. I believe I was let go and discriminated because of age and my health. She only said I partially met my needs to give her an excuse to let me go. You could ask anyone there, and they would tell you I worked hard in a profesional manner and got the work done. |

Sunshine, it sounds like you have a very crappy boss. (I hope I am not tossed off these boards for the word I used. But 2 years and nothing is said to you, you are presumably doing your job well and not being told otherwise. This is nothing I have not heard before and I feel for you, I really do. If Texas is an at will state, and I am not sure if it is the sad news is they can fire you for any reason or no reason at all unless it is discrimination. Good Luck! |

TEMP TO HIRE NIGHTMARE! Ok so here it goes.. Was contracted by a staffing agency to work at Caremark to do insurance collections. Worked there for 6 months, perfect attendance only 1 complaint reguarding work. I kept asking when I was going to get hired and was told just to wait, they like me and will hire me. 6 months go by, and I get a call from the agency telling me my contract is up and I should not go in the next day. What? No explaination why! Meanwhile people who worked there 20 years would spend half the day making personal phone calls and come to work dressed in hoodies, some smelled bad and would wear the same thing all week. There where a few who, dare I say it, seemed mildly retarded. Be Careful! Never leave a permanant position for a temp-to-hire nightmare or you'll be making a trip to the unemployment office! |

Oh Mike, you have no idea while working at Caremark there were people who were on time and professional and let go the first day! It is a very tough company. Read my post dear I was like Near PERFECT and was let go. This company likes to use people, I have no clue why some get hired and some do not perhaps you would like to enlighten us. |

No, I am new to INDEED and doing the FORUM thing. It was AEROTEK in Washington State that I am having heart burn with. Did I accidently make a comment on your subject. |

Did they say what you will be paid, who the company is and location. Aerotek is really secretive about that. They are usually hiding something |
