Does anyone know how old you have to be to work at AE in New York? I looked at the website and all it said is that "it varies"

Hi Dakotah Walsh there is no age limit...there was a women who was hired with me and she was 58 years young. So go for it. You will have to pass an eye exam and a hearing test...eyes 20/40 I almost did not pass its hard so make sure you go to the eye doctor first...AE interview and hire the same day so if you are hired you will be tested the same day...just a heads up.

i meant on the other side of the spectrum... how old you have to be before you can get a job.

The company hires minors as sales associates based on the stores volume. My store can only have 3-4, while a big city store can have a lot more.

16 in NY and you have to fill out "working papers" through your school guidance office if still attending. Also in NY, you do not have to be 21 to serve alcohol
