It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at American Income Life?

Any advice on striking the right note?

well, I went to the first interview and 2nd interview and to be honest there were hardly no question about my work past. I am not sure what to think of the company right now.....

I also interviewed with american income and it sounded like a very good opportunity- until they told me about the "fee"... They wanted $312 to get me started... "they" said this was typical- I said I have worked for some of the largest Insurance co in MN and I have never paid a fee that high. They then said I was lucky to have my agent lic because than it would have been much more- he said remember how much that cost you? NO, the company I worked for paid for my license. They thanked me for my time and walked me to the door. very shady.

I didn't go for my interview - it feels weird when every month or so I get another call about "My supervisor forwarded your resume to me and we'd like to set up an interview." well - it looked like "they" got my resume off monster.com.

Just be careful. Oh, I haven't worked in the Insurance industry so it would have been way too much money for me - if I had an extra $300 I wouldn't HAVE to get a new job...

Its a scam. They have a high turnover rate with their employees and thats how the company profits from it.

Sure they exist as a company, but they have a horrible reputation.

Google American Life Insurance and you will get tons of scams and rip off reports.
