Amscot cares so much!

I have worked for the company for a few years now and I remember the first time I ever met anyone from Amscot or knew what all they did. It was when they were giving away Free bike helmets to kids at one of our local branches, which is something they do everyone. I had taken my child down and was talking to the employees there and inquired about employment. 3 years late here I am and I love it! We do a lot for the community besides giving away free bicycle helmets to protect our kids, they also give to our kid's education. During the month of August we run a promotion called Dollar for Schools where we match dollar for dollar what customers donate, to a certain amount and donate it to the counties where we are located. It makes me feel so good to work for a company that cares so much about not only their employees but the communities they are in. And its even better know that it is sincere and you just know they have a huge heart and can truly see how much they care.

I love my Job at Amscot and so does everyone I work with... not sure what happen with the people on some of the other comments but something tells me it was their fault they arent working there anymore, not Amscot!

this will be my 2nd August to collect money for schools and I can not wait! It is a great feeling to have to know you have helped in contributing to the school systems in your area and that the company contributes too!

it's amazing to see what great mentors we have in our company. The company truly cares about it's employees, the community and their customers. It is a great feeling to know that i work for a company that does this.

hmmm seems like the idiots that posted before cobracookie are AMSCOT CORPORATE ROBOT LOONS!!! How pathetic defending a crappy company like this on this site to disguise the truth of the prison like conditions that occur at EVERY Amscot branch. My branch leader is so overworked she sleeps in the break room. I worked Easter & got no holiday pay, 12 hrs. Memorial Day same crap. Hours are inconsistent. No meal breaks. Collection calls are soooo STUPID & having my FSAs call all these people to remind them their loan is due. How about calling on Sat & eliminating 65% of that stupid list & time saved. I hate Amscot & so lookin to escape. Never worked for such a secretive company like this before. There's a reason why Amscot is constantly hiring.

The biggest lmao is the fact you losers stay on board with a company you allege is so awful. What a miserable way to go through life. I hope the company leaders do read this and share it company wide because everyone will either pity you or quietly laugh behind your back. And as long as you stick around your peers will continue to mock you, your negative and defeatist attitude as they pass you up the leadership ladder.
