I was a long time customer of Amscot and always believed in what they were doing not only for my community but for me as a customer. I hated waiting in lines at the bank and Amscot was just right there anytime in needed them. I am proud to say that not only was I a grateful customer but I am now a grateful employee. I left a company where I was comfortable in but there was just something missing there...so because of the employees at the store i went to, i decided to talk to them about employment. They always seemed so happy and genuine about their job, they raved about Amscot and that is all it took for me. Needless to say, I applied, got hired and I am a happy Amscot Associate now and just like I was a long term customer, I will be a long term associate. It has been 7 months now and I have already been promoted to Assistant leader. My branch is great and I couldn't ask for a better job. |

The "UNopened" door policy that we really have is pathetic. The DLs I've met are all pompous bi*ches. Come to a branch & occupy the main terminal by vault pretending to work real hard & causing an unpleasant atmosphere in the CAGE while she's there. The repetitive emails telling me how best to read my email and setting off a customer and blah blah blah. This company is a CULT & I'm trying very hard to escape it. I don't get praised. I collected on a guy who owed us $467 from 4 YEARS ago. I put myself in danger by doing that & yet got no recognition. Not even a $5 Publix card!!!! Yet I get written up for being late when the schedule changes beyond my knowledge & forgetting an initial on a PDA contract. Working my butt off in 74 degree temp min & no HUMANE 15 or 30 min break to relax a bit from the low life scum of Tampa Bay I'm dealing with for hours nonstop. Amscot is a regretting choice as an employer for me.hate this job im sorry I was delusional before but im better now. Its ok Vicky we all make mistakes! |
