Do you work at Aon? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

I have an issue with this company. I had a phone interview (with recruiter) with this company back in 2004 at their Winston Salem office in North Carolina. I had a prescreen interview and was invited to have an interview for a benefits administrator position which I attended and drove 2 hours to get there. I was not selected for the position. I applied again in August of this year had a phone interview, prescreen, and was invited to attend their job fair in winston salem where I drove 2 hours and had an interview again for the same job. I was turned down this week again. I have a master's degree in Business and a bachelor's degree in HR. I have benefits and HR experience. What does it take to get offered a position with this company because I feel that I have been discriminated against? And it is funny I see the same position posted again today on the website. If you have any comments, feel free to reply. Thanks! |

Anyone in the Chicago Area might want to try a company that helped me and a few of my co-workers get great jobs!!! They treated us very well. Most agencies treat you like a number because they have quotas and the all mighty dollar is what they look for. It's horrible when you are not treated right.

Hope This helps |

Hi, I am highly interested in the Direct Development Program - preferably in the Philadelphia/Radnor area, but I would be willing to relocate to Chicago as well if necessary. After having graduated from Penn State University in 2006 with two years of sales/marketing experience, I am currently looking to pursue a career in consulting. If there are any recruiters out there who I could send my resume to or have any advice on careers with Aon, I would greatly appreciate it. |

Jan2 in Chicago, Illinois said: Chris, do you hire in Chicago? Hi Chris your post looks like more than 2 years ago. But i was wondering what the job status hierarchy was that is posted on the internet. I applied for a job at the beginning of the month and the job status on my profile says "Lead". Do you know what the other status' are? Thanks |

I have applied for a couple of jobs at AON and the job status says 'Lead'. Can anyone tell me what that means? |

I also show "lead" on a couple of jobs I applied for. It's been that way for three weeks, but no contact from them yet. Don't know what "lead" means as far as status goes. |

Aon call me in for a interview, and then they said they would call me the following week. They never did call. So I called them to find out my status. They said they would e-mail me my status in a hour because they could not give it over the phone. Its been 2 days and I have not seen anything on my email. Can anyone tell me whats going on? |
