Friend recently quite a local Sam's Club after six months of working under a hostile and harassing manager. No sexual harassment, but much verbal and emotional abuse. The unemployment office has denied her benefits citing that her quit was not "allowable;" in other words, you must tolerate being abused in the workplace. We're going to appeal - wondering if anyone else had a similar experience or knows of a class action suit somewhere. |
