Misleading ads by ALL staffing agencies.

Im registered with a staffing office that finally admitted to me in a "voice mail" that the ads in the paper are general info only. so, when the ad says "100's of positions available, need to fill immediately", it means "10 - 20 openings, looking to fill immediately"!
the ads these offices print ARE MISLEADING. Yes! most of the jobs the applicant ask about are NON-EXISTENT.
These agencies are only in the business for 1 thing, making the "paying client" happy. They advertise to get as many people registered as fast as possible. If they have 2 opening at 1 company, they will take 2 maybe 3 weeks to sift through several resumes or applications and the AGENCY will decide who is closest to what the "client" wants. Remember, the client will be most interested in the applicant who accepts THE LOWEST PAY RATE. PATHETIC ISN'T IT!!!

The paying client is the one that dictates who they hire, not us ultimately. however if a client asks for our opinion and are using us as not only a resume service then yes, we will sift through the garbage to then present our client with 4-5 viable applicants. We run businesses, and if that doesn't suit your needs I'm sure you have a local unemployment office in your area, please son't confuse our services with them.
