I understand that at Area Wide Protective Salaries, Bonuses and Benefits are like chasing a carrot. If you like Bugs Bunny and like good old Elmer Fudd and have about 10 to 15 years to wait, then you might get some carrot's or a brand new Ford Falcon!!!! HEhehehe!!! Hahahaha!!!

In the Cincinnati District $10.00 an hour is the starting pay. After 90 days you will be raised to 11.08. You can depend on your next raise when you become a crew chief. Also known as when you top out. Its a 2 step latter. When you become a crew chief your pay will be 11.33. For the mathematically challenged that's a .25 cent raise. In a 40 hour work week that's 10.00. The upgraded responsibility's are at least 2 hours of your time per week dedicated to taking your slips that you are also now responsible for to the office in person. You are also now responsible for making sure your partner gets the proper safety training. If there is an at fault incident in your work zone you are now also responsible for the 500.00 insurance deductible per veh. or person involved. perks. company pays fuel to crew chiefs. that have to go to there helpers houses to pick them up. Per the contract.

PS no benefits
