It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Army Medical Command?

Any advice on striking the right note?

The interview is on the phone. They usually narrow the applicants to 3 before anyone even is called. Once that happens they will call those 3 people and do a phone interview. It's usually the commander or the one you will be working under, not necessarily the civi. personel. The commander usually says thanks...I've got some more applicants to call on and someone will get back with you. Once they interview all of you via the phone then they decide which one they liked and call you back and ask you how fast you can get down there and start working. The interview itself is basically...the same at any job you would be applying for. They use a lot of acronyms in the ARMY so you might want to familiarize yourself with those just for a good step forward. Also check out USAJOBS.com for more government postings. You can pick any state you wish to work in and pull up all the jobs in those states. Including Hawaii. Good Luck!
