Employee healthcare at Aurora is downright expensive. Second, if you're close to retirement age and are married, please be aware that once you turn 65 Aurora HEALTHCARE basic tells you to screw yourself, get Medicare, and, by the way, you spouse is no longer covered. Now that's what I call a superior HealthCare organization, don't you? |

Don't believe anything this company tells you during the hiring process... even if you have it in writing, they will not stand behind their word! Employees are not treated equally - you may not even be treated like a human being. I know I was not. In my 25+ years of employment, I have never been treated worse by a company. Funny their tag line is "A better choice. A better career. A better life!" What a bunch of bull. |

Starting salary for my profession is the low end of all hospitals within the area. Health and dental benefits are par for location. No 401K matching, $3000 yearly education reimbursement, No guaranteed yearly raise to offset inflation. Last year I got 2% of which they later took off a half of a percent. This year I was given a 3 cent raise per hour tied in with no longer offering the same shift differential, meaning I will probably make less. The hospital recently took away its free employee coffee perk from all locations in order to save money. |
