Okay i've been called by the Employee Coordinator, she told me to come in on Monday for a screening. Has anybody in here gone through the screening process? If so what kinds of questions do they ask? and afterwards what's next after the screening? Thank s. |

Hello, I currently work for BOA. When you go through a screening, its basically like an interview. They ask you questions about your previous work expierence. If you pass this, they will then schedule in interview with the manager that is hiring for that particular dep. FYI-Every interview that I have had with BOA has been a Behavioral interview. |

What is the next step after being screened at BOA is being told the interviewer will contact you within a few days so that you will be interviewed again by his or her superior. At this stage do not hold your breath awaiting a response because even with proactive steps as a canidate that third interview does not happen even though you are qualified and your results of assessments were awesome and the screener said you are great! You just became part of their ongoing recruiting proccess which seeks applicants, not employees, There is no regard for you as a prospective employee. |

What is a behavioral interview? Do they discuss your experience or job skills, or is it like a "personality profile" test? |

Basically, these people screen candidates, but often know little about the position. Of course, you do have to get past them - so just look at the job description, and make notes to memorize and take into the meeting about how your qualifications and this job correlated. Hope this helps... |

I dont understand what they want so good luck on the last phone call. |

I worked in a customer service call center for BOA for 3 years. I don't know why you wouldn't get hired- Diversity is their middle name. If you have computer training and can follow directions, deal with the customers in a professional manner, and stay alert about customer privacy you would do very well. |

If you are desperately looking for work, this is not the place. After I interviewed with them three times including marketing directors & all, I am still waiting to at least get a letter stating I didn't get the job and it's been over 6 weeks. This is the professional thing to do from the recruiter but nothing yet. |

Well, I have a 3rd interview with boa Wedsnesday and you guys have really upped my confidence, NOT. LOL. I was pretty confident, now I'm not so sure. Also to anyone that works there, do you remember your third interview? What types of questions did they ask. Also I'm only apply for the tutition reimbursement, do you have to wait a certain time period for that? I was planning on starting school in the winter. Thanks for any answers. |

I applied in May, and I JUST got the job. For my final interview, they asked very general questions - Why did u choose Bank of America? The toughest ones were probably the situational questions. For example, how would you bring your sales goal up? I asked the same question about the tuition reimbursement. They said something about if I were to apply this week, I would qualify it for the following Monday. However, I know that your benefits (medical, etc.) don't kick in until you're at least on the job with them for 60 days. I'm not sure if the tuition reimbursement is like that too. |

I should also say that... the reason I got the job so slowly... was because I interviewed 2 different markets. It was my fault, not theirs. |

Casey, I was recently hired at bank of america and start training classes on monday. Basically, the third interview is where you really want to market yourself. For me the third interview was more relaxed because the hiring manager just wants to make sure you are comfortable working there and will ask questions like you are interviewing with any other companies? This is where your marketing skills come into play! Make sure you are up front about your compensation package and your job comfort level. As far as the tutition reimbursement, it kicks in after 6 months from your hire date and your benefits start a full month from the day you are hired. I hope this helps. Good Luck! |

Hi, I am waiting for my manager interview. I just had my phone interview today and honestly it caught me off guard. What should I expect from the manager interview and what should I expect as far as the Customer Service job goes at the call center? Thanks for your help. |
