Hi I was just contacted by recruiter 1 today and was told to verify my background. I am not a criminal and I have never been arrested anything but the two things that I am concerned about is 1 my credit score is low(550 range) and 2 when asked had I been terminated for one job that I had 6 years ago I said no which technically I had been termed by the union and not the company(they were separate and while my manager loved me and I did great with the company to the point she wanted to fight to keep me, I had struggled with union dues and the work schedule was starting to interfere with school anyhow so I let it go). I am afraid that this will be seen as lying or that my credit score will cause concern for them. Recently i have been working for the same company for the past 4 years and have never had an issue. Do you think my background check will pass or is this enough to keep me from getting hired? |

I don't know the answer to your question exactly. I got to the second interview with BoA for a PT teller. I forgot to list that I ran a home based business on my background check and I think that kept me from being hired. Last time, last year, my creadit score for 780 and I've never been fired or have any criminal background. I don't know for sure if i didn't get the position, but it's been over a week and I haven't heard back, so I's asmusing I did not.
