Vacation/study abroad

What's good guys? Here is my situation: I'm going through the interview process for a 30 hr/wk teller position at the moment and I'm pretty sure I go the job. However, I'm afraid to tell the hiring manager that I'm going to be gone on a study abroad trip from july 13th to august 17th 2011 (approx 1 month and 1 week). Does anyone have any recommendations or feedback in what I should do?
I really want to keep this job even after my month trip.
What is your personal experience on vacation leave or something similar to my circumstance?

im about to be in the same boat, im going on to vacations one on october and one in november and they are 2 weeks each. i would like to know what people think as well.
