fake Assesment test in Bronx, New York

Host said: Do you work at Bank Of America? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?

Any advice for someone trying to get in?

Many of us feel the Bank of America test is a GIMMICK. Anyway you answer those questions , you fail! Me and a couple of people all applied at the same time and made sure we all answered differently, and it said each of us was not qualified for the position. Its a gimmick for Bank of America or any employer have job seekers to take that test. I think they want to hire whom they want and f you fail, they don't care t even look at your resume and cover letter.

Answer: You can't get the first interview b/c its a bogus assessment test they make you take

i want to apply for a job at BOA as an analyst in NYC. i currently work for Wells Fargo in the retail banking industry as a Personal Banker. I have a couple years of management experience as well with another non-bank related industry.

I do have a DUI that was lowered to a reckless driving charge. any idea if this will affect my prospect of landing a job with BOA???

am i qualified for an analyst position with a college degree (science field) and banking experience??

Bogus Assessment tests... I've been job searching for about 2 1/2 years and have gone to the second hiring process, by taking the assessment test. I will say that, it is bogus. This assessment test is not only offered from BOFA, but with BCBS, Suntrust Bank, Edward Jones and other employers, that I can't remember. Quiet, as kept, an employee has too stated, that it is not meant to pass!!!

My resume has always matched the position that I'm applying for. As I read some of the comments, it's clear that every location is different. My ex husband works for BOFA and has had a different experience as well. It was super simple for him and has been promoted, since then!!! LOL. I will continue to search and remain positive. But if anyone has any leads, feel free to ablige...

I have experience as a mortgage specialist, fraud analyst, online technical support and customer service (all within a financial/call center environment). I desire the position in its order. Thank you...

If I can as which assessment are you talking about? Is it the first assessment asking how you did in school and if you were ever late to your last job or is it the simulation? If it is the first assessment just try to answer everything positively. That's your best bet. Don't say that you got mainly F's in high school or that your were late alot to your last job. That doesn't make you look good to employers. If its the simulation the just take your time and try to answer the responds as to how you would want someone to talk to you if you called a business.

I'm not sure if you are still looking for a position within the mortgage industry but I am the Head of Recruiting and Marketing for Aapex Financial Solutions, a multi-state Direct Lender. We are expanding our Corporate Operation here in Charlotte and are looking to add some new NMLS Loan Officers to our team. I have worked with many loan officers and real estate agents and I can tell you that the pay and hassel of closing loans with the larger lenders in the current market are certainly not appealing. Contact me if interested in position with us at nicole.hale@aapexfinancial.net

I've been a contractor for 16 months and just got offered a position. I got a misdemeanor back in 02 for displaying a fake id ( wanted to go party ), and was then expunged. Then i have 3 misdemeanors for driving with sus lic. Never a dui, just negligence. I passed the addecco background so what are the chances of me passing the bank of america background based on that? Does anyone know?

I have a question regarding background checks. I am in the process of interviewing for a SHORT SALE WORKOUT SPECIALIST position. I have been with the same employer for over six years full-time. Hoever, in the past five years I have had two part-time jobs that I was fired from. Can I just not put them down on the application? This is NOT a cash handling postion....it is in the lending division. I really don't want to not get this job because I was fired from two part-time jobs in the past five years. Does anyone know or can advise me?

Susan Adams in Rock Hill, South Carolina said: After being laid off from Bank of America twice, I would not refer my enemy to the "evil empire". I have three degrees, did a great job, traveled across the country delivering training, even moved to Boston for eight months to assist with the Fleet merger. Unfortunately, I am not a "groupie" so when I was invited out for drinks time and time again and refused, I was labeled as not being a "team player". When you are labeled, you can forget about promotions. Bank of America is very "small" when it you consider the small number of senior managers (EVP) that are employed there.

If you are hired at Bank of America, be sure you enjoy "Happy hours".

I worked for Bank of America, or a predecessor, for nearly 36 years. I started as a teller and ended as a Sr. Operations Analyst. I also lost my job twice and am still trying to find another one. However, in all of those years I was never required to go to happy hour. I had to do my job to the best of my ability and lost my job both times due to down sizing.

I work at Bank of America for about a month now in the Call Center. I am struggling with banking and with the software but the managers and trainers have been very supportive as long as they know you are trying to grasp it. I don't plan on making banking a permanent career but hoping to enjoy my time working here. It can e stressful at times. My goal is to finish my Masters degree in Social Work in the next two to three years. Everyone is friendly here.
