I filled out the on-line pre-employment screening form the other day and forgot one thing.
I have been unemployed for a year. Prior to that I was at my last job for 12 years. I filled out the form correctly and listed myself as unemployed from the end of my last job. But, in the comment section I did not write anything.
Looking back at the instructions, it states to explain why you are currently unemployed (stay at home mom, student, etc). In the comment section of my prior employment, I did write that I was laid off due to work force reduction.
In the instructions it states the following:
Should there be ANY discrepancies contained in the information you provide, the investigation results will be reported as UNSATISFACTORY and you will not be able to be considered for any position at Bank of America for nine months from the date the results were returned.
Would leaving the comment section blank under unemployment be a discrepancy???

Hey so what happened to you? Did it affect your background check result?
