Barnes & Noble will not look into your credit. The number one thing they will consider will be availability. If you have completely open availability, that helps a lot. Also, they will look at your job history and whether you jump around from job too job too much. They will likely call two references, so make sure to take care when filling out that part of the application. If you're a student and have limited availability, it's best to try and get hired during the summer, when you're open. They will work with students, but it's pretty hard to get hired with limited availability. Hope that helps, and good luck.
