Although I didn't get the offer, my experience was very good. The company paid for my motel, travel, and meal expenses. The HR Director, Plant Manager, and one of the Engineering Directors conducted the interview. An interview schedule was sent ahead of time, so I knew who was interviewing me and at what time the interviews would take place.

The questions were mostly behavioral--tell me about a time you made a bad decision,,,what has been your experience with diversity,,,what are your strenghts and weaknesses,,,tell me about a situation where the data or project was ambiguous.

This was the Baxter Healthcare plant in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The people made me feel as comfortable as possible. This was the quintessential interview process.

I only wish they would have liked me,,,
