Transferring from the US to Canada with Best Buy

OK long story short..

My girlfriend is a Canadian citizen and lives in Vancouver. I'm an American citizen living in Florida. I currently work for Target Corp as a dept manager making over $16/hr. Target is going to be opening stores in Canada in 2013 so I was hoping to be able to obtain a visa through Target to live/work in Canada. That's a long time from now and this long distance relationship is hard on both of us so I'm trying to figure out a way to get there sooner.

Does anyone know what Best Buy's policy is for transferring from the US to Canada? I have over 5 years of retail management experience, 2 of which was specifically related to electronics, which are my passion. I'd be more than willing to leave Target and get a job at Best Buy here in the US if it meant I could eventually transfer to Vancouver.
